Genki sakura’s Oshare Life

Life (U.S. & Japan)

About March 27, 2007

The term “Oshare” usually refers to smartly dressed; stylish; fashion-conscious; but the term “Oshare” that I use here defines not only outward appearances but also inner beauty, such as dignity or nobility even if we face a difficulty in a financial situation.

Recently, we often hear and watch the news saying how economic situation is going unstable. They discuss how we can keep our job or how we maintain our livings. Such statements might be helpful, however, sometimes make us feel more insecure.

I always wonder if we can perceive such a negative situation as a positive perspective. It is a good time to think twice about what our everyday-life is, for instance, what we need, what we can save, what we can share and so forth. It can make our life simplify, and we might be able to discover what the most important is in our life.  Additionally, it leads us to become smarter, wiser, and more intelligent. Especially, as women, we always have to take care of your family and your job, but at the same time, we want to take care of out beauty as well. But how can we do? We are too busy to handle with all the things. This web-site hopefully shares how the Japanese women usually figure out their strategies to get over such situations in terms of traditional and modern Japanese women’s lives. First, I will share what a geisha’s “Oshare” life is. Moreover, I will also tell about modern Japanese women’s “Oshare” life.
